Background

Both of us gradtuated from The School for New Dance in 2014, in Oslo, and decided to continue working together after graduation, which led to form our own company.

Profile

Our work often reflects upon movements in art, culture and politics. The artistic expression of our previous works have carried a comtemplation on these subjects. We create pieces that explores when the room is no longer a fictive room, but a room where everyone is present at the same level.
We create our pieces from research on current topic and in the process of making the performance, we emphasise the exploratory body work and the research of the space.
In order to discover the non-fictive, in a meeting with an audience, the works are often made with a focus on whats between the experienced room and the factual room.

To dive into the category experienced space leads to exercises such as sensing time, space, objects, subjects, etc. This category leaves the dance as art form quite open. This work we do here opens for various ways to approach subject and intersubjective communication. Philosofichally theres a lot of research material, and regarding this cateogory we find the phenomenology interesting, as well as disability studies.
To dive into the factual room, means to work on the history, physical measures, the context of the show, generic facts about the target group, details arround the site, context or target group, and so on.
Further ...

We want to expand our artistic range within interdisciplinary projects through working with artists from different fields.
Collaborations with performing artists, visual artists and other field workers would make us very exited!
